The reflective material on this vest is very bright, like wearing a light. The material is strong enough to provide some protection in a skid out. The adjustments to size the vest over a leather jacket are easy to make. Over all a well made product.

This vest was exaclty as I expected. Light weight so you can wear it over something else and yet very bright so you can be seen when riding a motorcycle. The removable drivers license pocket was pretty neat too.

Overall I like this vest. The material is extremely visible and it is a must for me riding in the city or deer infested suburbs at night, not that the deer would necesarily see me because of it, but other motorists will. I like the little window wallet, great place for IDs or gas cards etc. However, shortly after I first wore it the bunge end piece, that is used to prevent the cord from sliding out of the adjusting piece, tore off. All I simply did was re run the cord through the adjusting piece and tied a knot so that it wouldn't slip out. One week later the same thing happened on the other side, corrected the same way. Other than that it is a good in"vest"ment.

The vest is made cheaper than I had hoped. The ID holder Velcro portion attached to the vest is already starting to come off. I will have to re-sew it. Overall unless you are stuck on the name Harley Davidson there are other vests out there made better and priced less.
Ripped at the seams

Just as Mr. Ratliff said, mine also ripped after just a few months. It was not drawn too tight, and it started separating at the seams in three places. I had no luck with the Harley dealership, so now I'm going to buy the ICON Mil Spec vest. The Harley vest is bright, no doubt about that, and the fit was great. All in all, I had no complaints until it started coming apart.
